Science Olympiad: Message from Mr. Daughtry, sponsor

Informational meeting this Thursday, December 13 

during ETA afternoon time on Team 8-1

There are two separate competitions the week before

spring break and there are rewards!

       Here is his message, "If there are questions, tell them that there are two separate competitions, and they can do one or both if they like, in teams of 2-4.  The first one that we are hoping has a huge turnout will be the science fair.  They will have a list of hundreds of projects that they can choose to make a presentation about, based off of what they are interested in, and will get to show it off to others. 
           The second competition will be the science Olympiad, which is going to be around 8 events where they are to build devices, including bottle rockets, hovercraft, roller coasters, and more!  They are going to use them to compete against other groups in the school.  They can choose as many of these events to join in as they want.  This one is probably a little higher level, but we still would love everyone to try."
             If you have any questions, you need to go by the meeting on Thursday during ETA to find out more!  I think many of you would do a great job and would LOVE it!  Let me know if you are planning on attending!
