We have started reading our new novel this week, I am Malala (Young Readers Edition). There are still several students that do not have copies of the book. Each student will need their own copy in order to be successful with this unit. Students need to have a copy to read in the classroom with them, not to mention the reading we will do outside of class. I know that some parents have been told that a lot of local bookstores are currently sold out, but as of today Amazon.com shows that hundreds of copies are available there. I understand there might be a waiting period while the book ships, but late is better than never!
